Truck driver training program prepares graduates for well paying, in-demand careers.

February 22, 2008 -- Todd Michalski was working as a fisherman from Gloucester, MA, when he decided to change careers. With the support of North Shore Career Center and Counselor Martha Shreve, Todd completed the training at ACS and

is currently employed as a truck driver

with InterShell. Lisa McAndrews left the construction field and with the help of Maureen Griffin from NH Works-Nashua received 2 pre-hires during her 3rd week of class with ACS. Richard Hallinan Jr., from NH Works-Manchester, was hired

by RJM Trucking in Hudson, NH, and is now enjoying top pay, benefits, and job security. Ken Christian, a client of NH Works in Manchester, attended one of our

recruitment seminars before actually enrolling, and was pre-hired by Werner Enterprises while he was still in training with ACS. Robert Barrett, like many of ACS' students, had no driving experience before he enrolled. When he interviewed with ACS, he said he wanted to see the U.S. and "get paid for it." Bob is currently fulfilling that dream as a full-time driver for TransAm Trucking, earning substantial pay and great benefits.
